Before I had kids, Las Vegas meant fancy dinners, shows, and the occasional night out. After kids? My Google search history is basically “fun things to do with toddlers in Las Vegas that don’t involve a casino.”
The good news? Vegas is actually an incredible place for families! It took some exploring, but I’ve found so many hidden gems that my kids love. Whether you’re local or just visiting, here are some of my favorite kid-friendly spots in Las Vegas.
1. Discovery Children’s Museum
Discovery Children’s Museum is a must for curious little minds. From a life-sized pirate ship to a mini city where kids can “work” different jobs, it’s an all-day adventure. Bonus? It’s fully air-conditioned (because Vegas summers are brutal).

2. Springs Preserve
Springs Preserve is a beautiful spot for families who love to explore nature. There are botanical gardens, a playground, and a butterfly habitat. It’s the perfect mix of education and outdoor fun!

3. SeaQuest Las Vegas
If your kids love animals, SeaQuest is a great interactive aquarium where they can touch and feed all kinds of creatures. It’s like a mini zoo and aquarium in one!

4. Gilcrease Orchard
Yes, there’s an orchard in the desert! In the fall, you can pick pumpkins; in the summer, you can grab fresh peaches. Gilcrease Orchard is a fun way to get kids outside and teach them where food comes from.
