Our Journey: The Story Behind Maeve & Rayne Play Lounge

If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be opening an indoor play lounge, I probably would have laughed in exhaustion—probably while tending to a clingy baby in one arm and a curious kiddo in the other. Because, let’s be honest, as moms, we’re constantly juggling. And somewhere between diaper changes, school drop-offs, and trying to drink my tea before it gets cold, I realized something: families need spaces that actually work for them.

The Problem: Play Spaces That Just… Weren’t It

As a mom of two, I’ve been to every kind of play space. Some were too loud and chaotic, making it impossible to relax. Others were so bare that my kids lost interest after 10 minutes. And the worst? The ones where I felt like an outsider, awkwardly standing there while my kids played, wishing there was a space where parents were just as welcome as their little ones.

I wanted something different. A place where kids could be kids, but parents didn’t have to just endure the visit. A space that was clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of activities that actually encouraged creativity and learning. A space where moms (and dads!) could sit, breathe, and maybe even enjoy a warm beverage.

The Vision: A Play Lounge That Feels Like Home

That’s when the idea for Maeve & Rayne Play Lounge started to take shape. I didn’t just want to build another play place. I wanted to create a community—somewhere parents felt seen and supported, and where kids could safely explore, imagine, and grow.

✔ Clean & Safe (Because We Get It!): I know what it’s like to cringe at sticky floors and questionable ball pits. That’s why we prioritize cleanliness and safety, so you can actually relax while your kids play.

✔ Events & Parties Without the Stress: Planning a birthday party shouldn’t feel like a full-time job. We’ve created packages that make celebrations easy, fun, and totally stress-free.

The Dream: A Place for Families to Grow Together

Maeve & Rayne isn’t just a business to us—it’s a dream come to life. It’s named after my daughters, but it’s built for every family looking for a space where they belong. A place where kids can make memories, and parents can enjoy the moment instead of counting down the minutes until it’s time to leave.
